„IL TESORO“ estate with its 106 ha (261,8 acres) is situated in the ancient metal republic Massa Marittima, near the famous vineyards of Bolgheri, to which the poet Giosuè Carducci dedicated his verses. Embeded in one of the most beautiful regions of Tuscany one can see the characteristic Maremma, with its expanded fields, vineyards and olive groves. The Etruscans discovered the major fertility of the soil, enriched with minerals, that allows - in combination with the mediterranean climate - a high quality production of grapes and olives.„IL TESORO has 4000 olive trees, which are over 350 years old. The fruity oil is cold pressed in the house owned frantoio (oil press) according to the old tradition, with stones and vertical press.
